Wow! This is a mind-blowing entry-level professional horn and a great value for the price. I literally opened this box up and played it without lubricating it. It played incredibly well. Very clean, even, efficient, and brilliant.
Stock photos included but we'll take more tomorrow. This would be a great (!!!) first pro option for anyone looking to stop renting, looking to have a killer backup horn that won't drain your savings, a great outdoor horn, or just a great horn! I am going to use one as my backup trumpet!

Brasspire Unicorn 770S
I just received my first “pro-level” trumpet., after playing a 1963 Olds Ambassador as my first trumpet, for the last year. Though the Olds was a good trumpet to start with and definitely better than a rental. As I progressed in my skills, I started to notice that it lacked in tone quality. I felt it was time to invest in a new trumpet with high end features, though I was reluctant to spend thousands on a used instrument and hesitant to spend more on a new pro-level instrument. When I saw that ACB had the Brasspire Unicorn 770S listed for less than a thousand, I felt I had to give it a try. Wow, was I glad I did. A beautiful we crafted instrument . It feels very comfortable, I especially liked the closed rings. I typically use a Bach 5B mouth piece but the 7C that comes with the 770 fits it very well and was tonally better than the 5B. The general tone of the 770 is very warm and full especially in the higher range. My Olds was harder to hit those higher notes and a little thin and piercing. The 770S is solid great sounding entry into the pro level playability I was looking for. If ACB doesn’t have it in stock, it definitely worth waiting for.
