After many clients, educators, students, and fans of ACB asked for a great introductory mouthpiece option for folks on a budget, we are extremely proud to produce these ACB Fabrication 5 Series Flugelhorn Mouthpieces.
The Fabrication series flugelhorn mouthpiece is an ideal upgrade for our ACB Doubler's Flugelhorns and is perfect for anyone looking for a high quality flugelhorn mouthpiece at a fair price. We took our popular 3CS mouthpiece rim, and modified the cup depth accordingly for most players. The shank size is our large shank taper.

Our Fabrication Series flugelhorn mouthpiece are made on the same machine as our Standard ACB Flugelhorn Mouthpieces. The difference is that the ACB Fab 5 comes in one size, but we make our Standard Series flugel mouthpieces with a combination of any ACB rim with one of three different cup depths. We have dozens and dozens of Fab 5 mouthpieces made at the same time, which keeps costs down so we can pass the savings on to you!

Fab 5 Flugelhorn Mouthpiece
This piece played great from the start. I needed very little time to adjust to it. The rim is very comfortable and flexible. It's a smooth-playing piece that gives ease above the staff without brightening the sound. And it doesn't wear me out like some flugel pieces can do.

ACB Fab5 Flugel Mouthpiece
I was skeptical when trying this mouthpiece. The rim size is smaller than I usually play so I thought it might lack depth of sound and ease of playing in the lowest register. It sounds all warm and flugelly and has an ease of playing in all registers.

Great Mouthpiece!
I needed to upgrade the Mouthpiece that came with the ACB Doubler Flugelhorn I bought from the good folks here at ACB, so I went with the Fab 5...what a difference! The clarity and volume of the sound improved immediately--as did the 'fullness' of the sound. The intonation on the low F#, G, and Ab was really good too. Playing into the higher register was way easier and came much more effortlessly without having to work too hard. Great Mouthpiece.

Oh, so mellow
I bought this with the Manchester Brass Flugelhorn. It's deeper and mellower than the stock MP, and the rim on this is super comfortable. I find the range-response better than the stock MP as well.

Fab5 flugelhorn mpc
I had very little down time adjusting to the Fab 5. It feels great from the start. It sounds nice and mellow in my horn and plays ultra smooth on my chops. Fab Five Flugelhorn Mouthpiece - Totally Fabulous
Thanks Trent, Josh and team for a quick turnaound on my Fab Five mouthpiece. The tone and range of my cheapie Flugel improved dramatically with this mouthpiece and should hold me a little longer while I save up for a better horn.
