What a cool horn from a super cool company. Benchmark Trumpets is one of the very few boutique builders in the world that makes ALL of their parts on their instrument. The only thing Ron doesn't make on his trumpet are the valve springs and the Amado waterkey.
Ron's been building horns for some time now and we've seen the evolution of this art. In fact I (Trent) owned one of the first piccolo trumpets Ron made. It was fantastic.
This horn is no exception. This horn has a great core, slightly thicker than a Bach 37, but still blends incredibly well with other trumpeters. The upper range on this horn is fantastic. Super good, clean centers.
This horn has a nice wider wrap than others and ergonomically feels great.
Metal valve guides, beautiful top and bottom caps, and I think one of the prettiest valve blocks in the world. Great compression and action.
I might pull this listing and keep this horn for my collection.

In excellent condition overall with no dents or dings. Raw Brass has tarnished a bit but that's it. Horn will be professionally serviced prior to shipping.
