This is a pretty new horn to the marketplace so we just had to scoop this one up from the TMEA show (and give you a bit of a discount on it as well!)

The new Taylor Tornado is the Piranhas little brother. Still very much in the Piranha mold only a bit smaller, tighter and more focused. We have learned that not every trumpet player wants the monster big sound and power of the Piranha, but require a more generic trumpet that can blend with Strads, Xenos and other mainstream horns.
The brief for these players is a comfortable resistance, super easy to play in all registers and the ability to light up on demand. The new Tornado shares the same general design vibe as the Piranha. They are obviously related. Both the same .460 bore. The main difference being in the mouthpipe and bell tapers. The new Tornado can come in either traditional main tuning slide set up or, reverse tuning slide. It’s your choice.
