    Brasspire 916 1B (red brass)

I love this horn! The intonation is beautiful, and it slots very nicely. Two sets of bottom valve caps are included; heavy and medium-heavy. So you can adjust the timbre. This horn is well-constructed and exudes quality, all the way. The satin finish is beautiful. Trumpets of this quality typically are priced thousands higher. Even the included gig case is top quality, and provides very good protection. If you like heavier instruments, you'll love this horn.

I've actually had the 916 1B model for a couple of weeks (red brass), with satin finish. I put it on my face right out of the box and it played just amazingly. I loved it immediately! It slots easily in all registers. The slides and valves move smoothly, and tuning is quick and easy. The weight is perfect, and there's an extra weight included that can be added, if you choose. The tone is beautiful and rich, just the way I like. The satin finish is gorgeous, and EVERYONE comments on its beauty. I flat out LOVE this horn. If you like a heavier horn, you'll love the Brasspire 916.

I've had this beauty for a month. I can say I'm in love again with a horn. It is definitely a chameleon. I have played it in a quintet setting, big band lead, concert band, and with the chamber group. The tonal qualities of the horn are just unbelievable. The upper register slotting is effortless. For the price I don't see how anyone would not consider this horn over a Bach, Jupiter, Yamaha etc. If you're looking for a great horn that you can use for everything try this horn out you won't be disappointed! Thanks again to Josh and Eric!!!
