We're very excited to start listing some treasures from my good friend and trumpet buddy Brad Goode's collection! If you don't know Brad was the one that inspired me decades ago to start collecting vintage trumpets and I am thankful for his incredible knowledge and advice throughout these past 30 or so years. There's some incredible players in this collection, some VERY rare instruments, and some of his workhorses. Now that he's working with XO Brass on a fantastic modern instrument he's decided to find homes for some of these treasures.
This is a very unique and FANTASTIC playing Besson Fabrication model made around 1920.
.450 bore
Very bright horn... amazing lead trumpet and quintessential "Besson" sound
There's some damage to bell rim plating cosmetic inside only not structural
There's a small patch also on the bell rim.
No third valve slide ring
Valves appear to be rebuilt
