KCTC Custom Pro Hybrid Trumpet!
New From KCTC is this Custom Pro Hybrid Trumpet! This model is a real treat and an excellent player! This particular horn was a part of Trent's personal collection but he has decided to make it available as part of his continued commitment to Adams Trumpets. This is a medium large bore instrument, it features a Carol Brass valve block which feels fantastic. The beautiful finish was done by Kevin at Heritage Music Repair. A Custom OEM replacement leadpipe similar to a calicchio #3 leadpipe, which has a very efficient streamlined construction that offers a solid core and ease of control in all registers. (think Freddie Hubbard!) and a new old stock Kanstul yellow brass bell. This bell is actually similar to the large "Wild Thing" trumpet bell (that HUGE flared bell similar to the Kanstul Bugles) but the flare is just a bit smaller in its overall volume.
In full transparency there are a few tiny cosmetic blemishes on this horn, notably on the mouthpiece receiver, and a light scratch on the bell close to the flare and the tiniest ping on the bell flare. They do not affect the playability at all. This horn also features a single brace main tuning slide, saturn water keys. All of this culminates in an instrument that has a brilliant, warm, and broad sound perfect for the trumpeter looking for a versatile instrument that feels great to play (and at a great price!)
