This horn is such a beautiful example of this timeless  trumpet design.

Heres a video of a previous 36B we've had in the shop

Here’s a video of Trent playing a 38B, the large bell equivalent of the 36B.  He played on these early Conn 38B’s for maybe a decade before getting his first real endorsement by a company.

The Conn Connstellation 36B is the smaller bell version of the 38B.

Small Bore - .438”

This horn is in great cosmetic and playing condition with some signs of use. There are some signs of wear on the contact points and some scratching around the entire horn body. Notably on the leadpipe, bell stem, and 3rd valve slide. The bell is also slightly bowed. No dents or dings however anywhere on this horn. Beyond these cosmetic blemishes, this is an excellent playing instrument. The valves have great action and move smoothly. The slides move comfortably as well! As with most vintage instruments, we recommend a thicker valve oil such as Berp Bio Oil #3 to optimize your playing experience.

The Connstellation 36B needs no introduction and was used by Chet Baker, Maynard Ferguson, Tom Harrell, Freddie Hubbard, and by other musicians in the late 50’s-today. This is one of the best horns to use in small group settings due to the sound.
