We are very excited to offer this trombone. Fans of the classic Elkhart Era Conn 48H will enjoy the familiar feeling and appreciate the modern playability and sound. Much like those classic horns this .500 bore plays like it is a little bigger but with all the facility, flexibility, and response one desires in a small bore trombone. Five-hundred bores are the perfect sized horn for trombonists who has a varied gig schedule of a jazz quintet one night, next night a salsa gig, all while doing a run on a musical, the occasional funk band gig, and playing lead in a big band one night and 3rd the next night. This horn will meet all your needs!

The combination of materials and design elements ensures a rich, dense sound that can project through any ensemble while maintaining articulation precision. As a player you can achieve a lot of different colors from the same horn. It is as easy to play sweet (think Lament) to vibrant and "sassy (think la Murga by Willie Colon) and everything in-between!

The two leadpipes offer additional versatility to the trombone too! The 1 leadpipe offers a very full sound that is subtable for commercial style music while the 2 leadpipe is a classic CONNstellation style sound quality.
