This model cannot be customized and comes as-is. This means that it costs less for me to build, and therefore I can pass the savings onto the customer! It is a great all around trumpet, with a nice balanced feel (not too open or tight, to my feel). This is meant for the high-demanding GB gigs (general business, or some people call them 'great bread' ?) in which you get called to play all types of music. At the same time, you don't want to bring your super high end horn and have someone kick it off the stage, so this horn was born!

It has a slightly bigger sound due to the slightly larger bell diameter. This is needed to cut through all of the electronics on stage in a large GB band. The french bead provides some great feedback as well, and makes it slightly easier to hear your own sound (this is usually a luxury when playing in a large pop/funk/etc ensemble). It also comes with the KCTC mouthpipe receiver, which is longer towards the player than a conventional receiver. This acts almost as a intergral threaded receiver, giving the player larger note targets and improving slotting. Please note that the KCTC receiver will not accept certain mouthpieces (Monette, AR Resonance, Patrick, GR) The leadpipe is efficient, and slightly larger than a standard venturi size (still smaller than my standard venturi). This allows more air to flow through the horn. The Carolbrass valve set is great, but is more affordable than the Adams or Meinlschmidt valves that I use on my other instruments. As a result, I can offer the GB Series trumpets at a significantly lower price point to you!
