The Y-Fort line of trumpets have been really surprising, I have been thoroughly impressed with every one of their horns I've tried!
Y-Fort was founded by Yang Fan and began producing instruments in 2002. Yang has worked closely with brands such as Jupiter and Eastman in the past, so he knows what it takes to make a quality trumpet. These instruments are very impressive, they play phenomenally well at a truly incredible price point. This would be an amazing first horn, and would also be a great upgrade from a student horn.
This Eb/D Trumpet blew me away... incredible intonation, efficiency, a beautiful sound... it's got it ALL. And it's IMHO criminally underpriced. Grab it while you can for this fantastic price.
This trumpet has plastic valve guides that create a smooth feel and produce very little sound through the valve stroke. It has Monel valves and a one piece valve casing. It also sports a first slide saddle and a 3rd slide ring with a 3rd slide stop screw.
It also has beautiful engraving (this pic is from another model in stock... but the engraving is similar and looks awesome)
This horn also looks absolutely stunning with dark grey mother of pearl finger buttons and a gorgeous floral bell engraving.
Pick it up today and get an awesome horn at a great price!

Incredible Eb / D trumpet!
I played this Eb trumpet with slides to tune to D at the 2024 NAMM show, right after I had tried the similar model Yamaha pro Eb trumpet. The Y-fort played even a bit better in my opinion, and I put one on order. It came recently and I have compared it side by side to my Schilke E3L. I really love the sweeter tone from the Y-fort! I paired it with a marvelous mouthpiece from Pickett Brass with a short-shank Eb "chamber/soloist" backbore and that just sealed the deal. I will perform the Haydn trumpet concerto in 2025 on this horn with no hesitation. It has the most marvelous facility with fast and high passages and a brilliant, clear, and sweet tone. Great intonation on both the Eb and D sides. It also has a cool hard shell double case!
