The JP333 Rath is John Packer's Double Valve Bass Trombone and is suitable for musicians who are looking for pro level instrument perfectly suited for playing in all genres: Orchestral, Concert Band, Big Band, Brass Band, etc... This instrument would also be the perfect addition for a school that needs a professional quality bass trombone, the professional who wants a high-quality bass trombone at a fair price, or the serious amateur who wants quality!
Developed in collaboration with UK trombone guru Michael Rath, the JP333 Bass Trombone combines a double in-line rotary valve with a modern open-style wrap for a broad, free sound. The double valve features an independent valve system, meaning you can use each trigger separately or both together to change the pitch of the instrument.
