This trombone is ideal for jazz and commercial playing. The King 3B is ideal for small group jazz and big band players alike. This trombone has a fantastic trombone sound for salsa music too! Plus, it is just gorgeous to look at!

King trombones are some of the most well known in the jazz-trombone world. From trombone legends like Tommy Dorsey to JJ Johnson to today’s artists like Bob McChesney, Natalie Cressman, Nick Finzer, and Ryan Heinlein the King trombone sound has adorned thousands of stages and recordings.

The 3B features a .508" bore for excellent control in all ranges of the instrument. This is a classic jazz trombone style and sound and should make for a wonderful instrument for someone serious about playing jazz who wants a legendary jazz trombone sound.

This trombone would sell new for close to $4700. This trombone is in overall very good condition with almost no signs of being pre-owned. This trombone looks like it is almost fresh from the factory! This horn is in on consignment. It was not played very much and sat in it's case for quite a while untouched. Slide is very funtional and moves freely but there is "slide noise" especially past 5th position (this does not seem to limit the slides ability to move between positions or hinder playing but some players may be sensitive to it).

Sold with a case and comes with a mouthpiece.
