The Olds Valve Trombone was made in Fullerton, CA circa 1964. The Olds Valve Trombone offers a sweet. warm, singing sound with natural phrasing ease, these horns appeal to jazz trombonists looking for vintage character and playability. Olds Valve Trombone Bb with 8" Bell section and .500 bore.  

 

The trombone has a fair amount of wear from over the years. The valve section crook is pushed in from past use. Much of the original lacquer is still intact but shows signs of it coming off. There may be some signs of red rot in the upper tube, but not major or leaking. Lots of scratches across the entire instrument, (see photos for reference). there are dents in the main tuning slide, as well as pings across the bell flare

 

The valves are in good condition and move smoothly. The tuning slides all move smoothly.
