Pre-Owned Schagerl Penelope Meister Series Trumpet in Silver Plate

The Schagerl Penelope is completely handmade in Austria! This is one of Schagerl's top-of-the-line piston trumpets. It has some really cool design details that give it great stability, responsiveness, and centering without being too restrictive in the slotting. The unique bracing, sleeved leadpipe, and sleeved bell ferrule only add to this horns one of a kind sound and design. It has a ML bore and a gold brass leadpipe and bell.

This horn is in fantastic shape save for a few very light surface scratches around the body of the horn. Beyond that this instrument is in fantastic condition, it has no dents or dings and plays just as great as it looks. The valves move smoothly with excellent action and the slides move comfortably as well!

This is the exact horn we have for sale!  We sold it to the original owner and now they are liquidating  their collection!

The sound shape is quite versatile, although it leans to the darker side. The Penelope feels slightly heavier (1-3oz) than a standard weight trumpet, without being as heavy as an Adams A4.
