Great Sounding Cornet for Brass Band, Concert Bands, Soloists, and Jazz Musicians.
This Yamaha YCR-2310 Cornet is a versatile cornet that plays with a warm, full, and rich tone. It is a fun to play and free blowing - perfect for anyone wanting to learn to play the cornet for the first time or coming back to the instrument. Technically these are student model cornets however they are very underrated in our opinion. They play extremely well and offer a beautiful traditional cornet sound, and have highly accurate intonation and a comfortable playability.
The cornet is pre-owned and does show some minor signs of use. There is light scratching in the finish around the body of the horn. and a few barely noticeable pings. Beyond those few cosmetic blemishes, this horn is in fantastic shape and they do not affect the playability of this cornet in the slightest. This instrument features original top valve caps and these beautiful Harrelson high efficiency valve stems. The valve action on this instrument is fantastic and slides move comfortably. Don't miss out on this fantastic horn!
