Yamaha 2330 Cornet in Clear Lacquer!
Check out this Wonderful Yamaha YCR-2330 Shepherd's crook cornet! The 2330, while branded as a student horn really plays far above its level and is a sweet instrument! Warren Vache', Plays an earlier Yamaha cornet that is similar!
This horn was well played and does show some signs of use but is in very good shape! There is minor scratching throughout the body of the horn, notably on the leadpipe, bell stem, first valve slide, 3rd valve slide, and inside the bell flare. There is a barley noticeable ping on the main tuning slide by the bend. There are some very minor inconsistencies in the lacquer as well towards the Shepards crook. Beyond these cosmetic blemishes this is a great playing horn! The valves move smoothly with great action and compression and slides move comfortably as well. This is an extremely solid horn in every regard!
