The Perfect Combination of Fun and Practicality!

In stock in very limited quantities!

This is a really nice playing pocket trumpet that's perfect for travel. The large bell flare fits standard trumpet mutes, so you can bring a horn and a practice mute without taking up much space. Like with our Doubler's line, the ACB pocket trumpets are ultrasonically cleaned and optimized (valve alignment, etc.) prior to shipment. Now available in the beautiful satin lacquer!

Features:

  • Monel valves (with ACB precision valve alignment)
  • Yellow brass bell
  • 3rd slide adjustable ring
  • Bell: 4 7/8th inch bell with a nice flare (fits standard mutes!)
  • Bore size: .459"

The ML bore works really well with the tighter wrap of this trumpet.

Included in this horn are a nice ACB-Logo Polyfoam gig case with backpack straps, and a stock non-ACB 7C mouthpiece. If you would like to upgrade your mouthpiece, click here!

This is most definitely not a toy, it's a nice playing horn!

    Great Travel Option

Posted by Kelby on 12th Oct 2025

Solid compact option for practicing while traveling. Fit and (satin) finish is really nice, especially at this price point - it looks the part! Case is very lightweight, including spots for a mouthpiece and bottle of valve oil. Playability is solid for the price. Of course it's not at the level of a $3k+ horn, but it feels 'real' enough to practice on and enjoy the process. I found intonation can be a little wonky outside of the staff, but is spot on when I use it with the Yamaha Silent Brass, so it works for me. 4 stars reflects this (really 4.5 might be more fair!), as your mileage may vary. Between it playing well enough to practice on earnestly, and looking loads better than it costs, this horn feels like a treat when I'm away from my full-size horns versus the less-expensive pocket options out there. Pair that up with ACB's superb customer experience and this is a winner.

    ACB. LBPKT

I wish I’d bought the Manchester pocket trumpet. I am not knocking the ACB large bell pocket. I’ve gone through several mouth pieces trying to get the most out of it. I think I’ve matched it with a MP that’s giving me the satisfaction I’ve wanted. However do what 8 wish I’d done. Spend the extra 3 Benjamins and buy the Manchester.

Great little Horn, Very surprised with the sound and tone. Takes a little time to get used to the handling, but great horn all around
