Woah!
What a cool cool horn.
We are authorized Taylor dealers these days and they are making some super sweet horns. This horn just came to us via a trade and is in excellent condition overall. You might notice the ring on the bell bow. That is not a patch but was put on that horn directly at the factory.
This is a cool horn, with an extremely cool sound. Thick, rich, warm, lush.
Has the Hoxon (CarolBrass, Manchester Brass, etc) valves with perfect compression.

Not a trumpet, not a flugelhorn. It is somewhere in between, It can be a big phat trumpet or, it can be a bright flugelhorn depending on how you play it. The strength of this model is the ability to cover the tonal gap in the middle between the two. This is ideal ballad or smooth jazz territory. Enough cut to be heard in the mix yet smooth and creamy enough to carry a sweet melody. A great addition to the arsenal for the intimate jazz player. If you regularly play lounge, hotel or restaurant gigs then this could be the instrument you’ve always promised yourself.
