Nice horn at a great price !
Introducing the Adams/ACB Professional Series Trumpet!
The Adams ACB collaborative model is a great trumpet, built by Adams and available exclusively from Austin Custom Brass! This trumpet is an extension of the incredibly popular Adams Prologue series, with custom tweaks. In this updated design we use a 5-inch bell with traditional flare, added a standard weight body with nickel trim, and added a new custom leadpipe with nickel trim. The results are fantastic, and due to some advancements in the Adams manufacturing process we can offer these trumpets for a simply unbelievable price!
This is a wonderful horn for the player looking for their first professional trumpet, the serious amateur looking for a great playing horn, or the advancing student ready to move on from a rental or hand-me-down trumpet. If you want to experience the exceptional quality of an Adams trumpet but at a more affordable price point than their custom series, then this is the horn for you! Check out how well the quality of the Adams ACB compares to some of the more expensive Adams horns:
This trumpet is offered in two in-shop configurations: polished gold lacquer and silver plate.
The horn is made in the Adams factory in Holland by the incredible staff at their brass factory.
This horn is played around the 21:49 mark!

Bottom line, if you're looking for an all around horn that is sub-$2000, this is the horn for you! You will not find many horns if any at this price point that has an one-piece bell, best in the industry valves, and hand-made in the Netherlands. The one attribute that surprised me the most is the weight. It's a very light, agile horn. Although it's not a 'custom horn', it's pretty custom in this price range (ACB specifications). Go for gold plate if you don't mind waiting and spending the extra bucks! Great job Adams and ACB on this beautiful, wonderful all around horn!
Love this horn! Warm sound and blends well! My section mates already want to borrow it for their next gigs! Great customer service as usual too!
I really needed a horn at the time as mine were out of commission. This thing really stepped up to the plate. Easy to play, has sizzle when needed and with a bigger mouthpiece it has a really warm sound. Valves are awesome. I really like this horn!
Been playing commercial, and big band lead for about 30 years now. Upon trying this horn I couldn't put it down! It really puts out whatever you feed it. Amazing at its price, and performs way above. Don't hesitiate...it's outstanding, and with beautiful craftsmanship too!!
I'm a semi-pro player using this horn in big band lead and first chair pops. If there's a better pro-level horn at this price, I'd like to know about it.
I've only been playing trumpet about a year. The Adams ACB was my first horn and although my playing experience is limited, I've found the Adams ACB to be an excellent instrument. It's rather light weight and the thing I like most about it is it's beautiful warm tone. It feels very nice in your hands and you can tell the quality in its construction is there and you sure can't beat the price. I would highly recommend this trumpet!
