Adams designed this trumpet with quality and affordability in mind, including a new bell design and a valve block created just for the Sonic. This horn comes to us on consignment and is in beautiful condition. There are a few minor signs of use in the form of some light scratching on the 3rd valve slide and on the bell towards the flare. There is also a small imperfection in the plating near the 1st valve slide. These barely noticeable cosmetic blemishes do not affect the sound or playability of this instrument whatsoever. The valves move great with smooth action and fantastic compression. The slides move comfortably as well. It features a 5" yellow brass bell for excellent projection and core to your sound. The inner slide legs are made from nickel silver for smooth motion and great durability (also enhances the quality of sound). The Sonic is a fantastic horn, one of the favorites at the Adams booth at ITG. The Sonic is fully made at the same factory as the Adams Custom Series instruments. Since the Sonic is offered in one standard configuration Adams was able to streamline the manufacturing process and pass the savings along to you.
