2RL Silver
After nearly 30 years on a Holton, and after play-testing XO, Xeno and Bach, I tried the 2RL in 2017 and never looked back. The tone is rich and full. I don't like super-bright and this (currently paired with Shew Lead & Jazz mouthpieces) is home to me. Trent & Josh gave amazing attention when asking what I wanted to improve upon vs my Holton. The 2RL unlocked some things for me that required much more thought on my old horn.. and that has freed me to experiment & drill on new things. I truly feel you cannot go wrong with this horn, and ACB's customer service is second-to-none.

ACB MODEL 2RL | Awesome entry level instrument!!!
This trumpet is everything I hoped for and more, amazing response, great sound no matter high or low, and it can get really bright in the higher register had has a nice kick to it! the instrument itself is beautiful. I highly recommend this trumpet for any level, ACB staff were also very helpful in answering questions! overall a very good horn and first impression of the company.

ACB Model 2RL Entry-Level Professional Trumpet in Silver Plate
This horn is great buy for the price, and perfect for an intermediate/hobbyist trumpet player. Overall I was very pleased with the construction and quality of the horn. I would definitely do business with Austin Custom Brass again.
