The BT9  is a open  broad, and rich sounding instrument, perfect for soloists or orchestral musicians looking for a rich sound especially in the middle and upper register. 

The 430  Bi-metal bell and copper leadpipe make this horn SUPER  (!!!)  versatile.  Trent plays a similar horn with the KCJO (and is an endorsed artist for Bell trumpets!)
