The Böhme Tumultus model is an incredibly responsive trumpet that will give you clear feedback behind the horn. Intonation is excellent, and slotting feels secure without being restrictive. The Tumultus feels very free blowing thanks to the reversed leadpipe design and MAW valve block. It is the heaviest Böhme trumpet design, and the extra weight helps give the sound additional stability and core.
Bell options
The L bell is an ideal choice for the jazz soloist. The tone is dark, powerful, and centered throughout the dynamic range. Diameter is 5.31"
The M bell is an ideal choice for lead playing and commercial work. The tone is bright, crisp, and centered, even at extreme dynamics. Diameter is 4.92"
Aside from the bell, the two versions are identical. Give us a call at 816-401-0826 and we’ll be happy to discuss which bell would be best for your specific needs!

Fantastic
What a beautiful horn! The quality of craftmanship is second to none. I have the med bell and it is very free flowing blow. Gives me the confidence to play the quietest passages as well as step on it for some oomph. Plays very dark with a larger mp and brightens way up with something a bit shallower. I find I can get whatever color I want with just a slightly different mp setup.

Bohme Tumultus Bb Tumpet
I haven't received the trumpet as yet. I have read lots of reviews, and heard it played by excellent musicians, and I am confidant that I will receive a highly crafted instrument, that will be the best I've ever bought. The folks at Austin Brass has made the transaction experience flawless and joyful.
