It features the amazing MAW valve block from Meinlschmidt in Germany, which allows for smoother air passage through the instrument. The leadpipe/threaded receiver is all one piece made from nickel.

"Extra thin bell, lead pipe and receiver to make it as quick responding as possible. Bright and piercing sound with incredibly stable slots to help with the extreme upper range. Bell is in nickel silver, just 0.45mm thick and 128mm in diameter, a super light horn at just 999 grams! Leadpipe is, as always, machined from a solid bar and it has are real integral threaded receiver, unlike other brands that solder the receiver on the leadpipe. Nickel bell, leadpipe, tuning slides, trim kit, rings, water key, braces and upper part of the valve block. The rest is in bronze."

Okay, I’ve played a LOT of high end trumpets over the past few years and very recently got my hands on a Leggera. The tone has so much core to it! It’s one of the smoothest, most fluid feeling horns I’ve played. The weight and balance is perfect in you hands. (2lb 4.2oz) With the included gap inserts, you will be able to get the exact feel you’re looking for. Gone are the days where a horn that slots too loosely or tightly for you needs to be sold! Now you can simply screw in a gap insert and change how the horn plays in seconds. If you’re looking for a fantastic “all-purpose” model that can do everything from lead playing, to classical, to solo work…this is the model I’d highly recommend.
