S.E. Shires Bb/F Large Bore Tenor Trombone
Check out this S.E. Shires Bb/F Large Bore Tenor Trombone that's just arrived in the shop and it is a monster!
This horn is in great condition but does show signs of use as it was played by an active musician. There is standard wear on the typical contact points consistent with the age of the trombone. The neckpipe has lacquer wear and some acid bleed. The slide does not show signs of red rot or any major issues. This bell was a pre-eastman build as well and not original to the initial build of the horn. The bell does have a crease by the flare as well as a dent.
The bell also shows signs that it was adjusted, and you can see a color change above the hand engraving. Beyond this, it is an excellent looking and playing horn!
