Resilience Oils is a Research and Design company focused on lubricants and greases for musical instruments.
Fully synthetic main tuning slide grease with "tri-synthetic" formulations. This grease is made to stay where you put it and heat won't make it run all over your instrument.
Leave it for a month and it will feel the same as the day you put it on.
One of those things is exciting and having all of that in one tub makes it the most exciting thing ever.
From the designer of R.O.:
My belief is that these synthetics are the best thing on the market for your instrument in playability and in the longevity of your instruments.
I spent over a year in the design of these first 3 products. One of the huge issues was finding people with the knowledge basis needed to create something completely new to an industry that clings the past fervently. So, it was starting from scratch and moving from there. Luckily enough my work in the past with fixing reactive metal issues in other industries gave me insight to where I wanted to start the processes.
Different types of metals create different frictions as some metals are harder then others which cause a variety of variables on a fundamental level. The addition of stainless steel into the equation has changed the wear of valves across the board. Having a metal that reacts differently then any other metal used has created huge issues in the band world.
These new products are specifically designed to create a static barrier on the piston for the oils to move freely. The addition of a "tri-synthetic" formula has helped to slow down and even prevent the degradation of metals.
We also took into the consideration of the musician and the climates in which the instruments are played. Weather is not a factor anymore with our "tri-synthetic" formulas and true PAO synthetics.
Working with fluid dynamic engineers and the leading manufacturers, we have been able to develop what we believe are the best products on the market. Taking a new direction we are constantly in the process of developing new products and ways to improve the music industry.
If you have any ideas on what should be done next drop me a line. This is not just me it is the advancement of the musical industry to what other industries have embraced for so long and I am always looking for people to collaborate with.
Thank you for taking the time to read my rambles.
