The new adjustable cup mute for trumpet. Unlike any other cup mute, Soulo Cup is perfectly in tune in all registers, has minimal back-pressure, and no 'squirelly' notes. The specially formulated fiber materials and manufacturing process allow Soulo Cup to offer the traditional vintage cup mute sound, adjustability and perfect pitch all in one mute. It is considerably lighter than other brands. Each mute comes with a 100% organic cotton bag to protect it from wear and tear and provide a third sound color option: a darker cup mute sound, with the bag stuffed inside the cup. All these options allow the trumpet player to blend perfectly in a section comprised of different brands of cup mutes. The mute is perfect for performance and sound recordings, as it will never fall out the bell due to it being lightweight and its unique neoprene composite corks. Old-School Sound
This cup will get you that classic 40's bebop sound (reminds me of some early Dizzy era). In a section, you would most likely need each player to be using it, however - it will not necessary blend with every cup out there. I've retained my Dennis Wick for that reason. This Soulo mute, along with the harmon and bucket, deserve a place in your collection.

Soulo trumpet cup mute
This is a fantastic cup mute! It is well made, adjustable, the material of the cup solid and doesn’t flex, and the stem has a really cool metallic paint on it. It fits in the bell very nicely, and doesn’t slip out. It also plays as good as it looks! It is very open blowing with a very nice tone throughout the range. Beat cup mute I’ve ever played!

Amazing!
This is a super great cup mute. I own the Dennis Wick and the Humes and Berg, and this is easily the most easy to play. I love the tone and intonation.
