Ultra-Pure Oils started in 1990 with custom blends of synthetic oils to develop the ideal lubricant for valves: Fast, light, and super-smooth with a little silky feel to it. Long-lasting and odorless. No build-up or staining. Fast-forward to today and you can find Ultra-Pure products in fine music stores and online shops the world over. Ultra-Pure Oils LLC is a family-owned and operated business. We care about the environment and recycle all our waste cardboard, plastic bottles, and any waste oils. Please remember to reuse or wash and recycle your bottle when it is empty.
We recommend that you oil your valves at least once a week. Of course, the best results will be oiling each day since the oil will help wash down any contaminants. A freshly oiled horn feels great!
Ultra-Light
Ultra-Pure Ultra-Light Valve Oil has a lighter and faster feel that players love. It is synthetic, odorless, and very long-lasting. Our Ultra-Light valve oil is thinner than the standard weight and is perfect for instruments with very tight pistons or rotors that would feel sluggish with the standard weight. We especially recommend this version for brand-new instruments, Schilke, Yamaha, CarolBrass, Monette, and Getzen and for the axial flow rotors of many trombones. It is also best for rotary valve trumpets and makes a great rotor oil on French horns. This style bottle has a child-resistant (push and turn) cap as required in the US and Europe.
Professional
Ultra-Pure Professional Valve Oil has a fast, light, and silky-smooth feel that players love. It is synthetic, odorless, and very long-lasting. Our Professional valve oil is the standard weight and is perfect for most instruments. It works well on pistons and rotors.
"8VA" Limited Edition
8VA means "an octave higher." So all you need for high notes is this valve oil, right? Ok, we're just kidding! Only practice and hard work will help brass players to develop their high range. Our "8VA" valve oil is the same fantastic formula as Ultra Pure Professional valve oil.
Classic
Ultra-Pure Black Label "Classic" Valve Oil is a little thicker than standard valve oil and is designed for older horns with worn pistons or rotors. The thicker oil helps fill in the space between the valve and the casing and allows the valve to operate without any sticking. If you have an older instrument with worn valves, give Black Label "Classic" a try!

Ultra pure valve oil
Probably the best valve oil I have used in 40+ years of playing.

Best valve oil I've used
Easily the best valve oil I've ever used. Previously I tried blue juice, al kass and various Yamaha synthetics. The only draw back I can think of is that you may have to use this more often than some other but that's not a huge issue

Valve oul
It works just like it should and is cheaper than anywhere else I can purchase it where I live.

Ultra Pure "Classic"
The jury is still out on this, but it seems to work pretty well. I prefer thicker oils, so I bought the "Classic." It's not quite as thick as my usual oil, but it seems to last pretty well. I am also using it on my Amado water keys with good results.

Ultra Pure Valve Oil / Manchester Flugelhorn
I purchased a new Manchester Flugel from ACB and was not quite sure what oil to use on it. I did not want to use my standard trumpet oil being my trumpet was 26 years old and i am using a heavy weight oil in it. So the ultra pure was the best choice. So far very happy with it. Also, the Manchester Flugel i purchased from ACB is amazing in every way and the support for that purchase was unbelievable.
